Scholarships
Our scholarships enable the pursuit of excellence and foster access to a Sacred Heart education. They are an integral part of our commitment to rewarding excellence and enabling students, from all backgrounds, to achieve their educational goals.

Applications are now open and close on Friday 8 July 2022.
All scholarships are awarded at the Principal’s discretion.
Scholarships are open to new students. New students are new applicants, or those currently on school waiting lists, who have not commenced the enrolment process, have not been offered a place, or had a place confirmed, for 2023.
Any new student who has previously applied for a scholarship may reapply.

Academic Scholarships for entry into Years 7-11, 2023
Scholarships awarded to commence in Year 7 to Year 11 provide partial remission of tuition fees until the end of Year 12, subject to the student’s continuing superior performance and her ongoing contribution to the life of the School.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview with the Principal, Ms Adelina Melia-Douvos.
All students are required to sit a scholarship test which will be held on Saturday 16 July 2022.

General Excellence Scholarships for entry into Years 5–11, 2023
General Excellence Scholarships provide partial remission of tuition fees until the end of Year 12, subject to the student’s continuing superior performance and her ongoing contribution to the life of the School.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview with the Principal, Ms Adelina Melia-Douvos.

Music Scholarships for entry into Years 7, 8, 9 and 10, 2023
Music Scholarships provide partial remission of tuition fees until the end of Year 12, subject to the student’s continuing superior performance and her ongoing contribution to the life of the School. Students who are awarded a Music Scholarship are expected to be involved in the Music program at the School.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an audition and may also be invited to meet with the Principal, Ms Adelina Melia-Douvos.

Science, Mathematics and Creative Arts Scholarships for entry in Years 8 and 9 in 2023
These scholarships are offered in celebration of the opening of the St Madeleine Sophie Barat Centre – our new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM) learning centre.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who show passion and excellence in Science, Mathematics and Creative Arts and are open to new students who will be commencing in Years 8 or 9 in 2023.
Scholarships provide a partial remission of tuition fees until the end of Year 12, subject to the student’s continuing superior performance and ongoing contribution to the life of the School.

Access Scholarships for entry into Year 9, 2023
Access Scholarships are awarded to students gifted in Science, Mathematics or Creative Arts. These scholarships will enable students, whose family’s financial situation may prevent them from attending, the opportunity to receive a Sacré Cœur education.
One Access Scholarship is available for a new student commencing in Year 9, 2023. This scholarship have been made possible through the financial support of our community during the 2021 Annual Appeal – ‘Building Brilliant Minds’. We thank the Sacré Cœur Foundation and all our supporters for facilitating this generous gift.
As well as providing a 50% remission on tuition fees for Years 9-12, the Access Scholarship also provides a laptop and $1,000 towards co-curricular and learning opportunities.

Bursaries
We are also proud to offer a limited number of bursaries annually to students whose families may not otherwise be able to afford a Sacré Cœur education. Our bursaries are funded in part by the School, in conjunction with the Sacré Cœur Foundation, and supported by the generous donations of our community, and are available to both current and new families.
